LEHMANN’S FARM PARK

Public BBQ

Lehmann's Farm Park occupies the site of an old dairy farm, and someone clearly had enormous fun designing a playground that celebrates this heritage with unabashed enthusiasm. The centerpiece is a wonderfully absurd spinning teacup that whirls at what one visitor generously described as "laughably high" speeds, alongside a milk barrel slide and cheese-block sculptures that would make any dairy farmer chuckle. The barbecue facilities are well-appointed with undercover seating areas, though the park suffers from a glaring oversight - no toilets, which seems rather optimistic for a family destination. Children can clamber about a sizeable rope spider web, navigate a small hedge maze, or test their mettle on playground equipment that, whilst limited, captures the dairy theme with charming dedication. The windmill, cow bells, and working dog statue add authentic touches that ground the whimsy in genuine agricultural heritage. Unfortunately, the park's appeal is somewhat diminished by maintenance issues and antisocial behaviour that mars what should be a delightful family outing.
